- Department of the Interior, National Park Service intends to acquire services on a sole source basis with University of Guam. The government intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance one year from date of award. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement. The applicable NAICS code is 541512 and the size standard is $25.0 million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the government will consider all proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. SOW: The Pacific Island Network is seeking to conduct an inventory of land snails in two national parks in our Network, War in the Pacific National Historical Park (WAPA) and American Memorial Park (AMME). Information is lacking on population size and distribution for these rare Partulid snail species, whose numbers are dwindling due to introduced species, predation, and habitat destruction.****Department of the Interior, National Park Service, requires that all contractors doing business with this Procurement/Contracting Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov.
