- Description
- Work consists of treating noxious weeds, and providing treatment data. The contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, licensing, supervision, workman’s compensation, unemployment insurance, and transportation to accomplish weed treatment. Equipment being used for the requirements under this contract shall be cleaned prior to entering the Forest and cleaning may be required between sites. Supply of water is available in the local area of work. The contractor will be required to furnish water for all areas under this contract. Services covered under this Performance Work Statement and contract shall run from on or around July 15, 2009 thru October 15, 2009 for 250 acres treated, and or around June 10, 2010 thru September 2010 for 250 acres for a total of 500 acres over two years. Work shall commence when target plants are actively growing and weather conditions make them most susceptible to herbicide effects as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
