- Modification #005 Is the product as described in the MSDS the product that IBWC wants to purchase? No, the MSDS is generic. Is there a Technical Data Sheet (not an MSDS) or is there more specifics on the material that you are going to purchase from this solicitation / Contract? Refer to the technical description in the solicitation. It is intentionally brief and broad to accommodate all sources that can meet our process requirements. It would appear that the product referenced in the MSDS is not PH Neutral. Could you please confirm this? The MSDS is generic. The product shall be pH neutral. Is methanol of any benefit to the function of the product in terms of it being a carbon food source in the wastewater treatment? If not would the crude glycerin without methanol and with a higher Glycerin content be considered a better value to the Government, and be given due consideration if our price is higher, than the product as referenced on the MSDS. The vendor shall offer the material that meets the specifications at the lowest price possible.
