- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE: The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire TWO (2) each of TruTouch Technologies' TRUTOUCH GUARDIAN MACHINES. Delivery is F.O.B. destination Millington, TN 38055 30 dys after date of contract. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION WITH TRU TOUCH TECHNOLOGIES, ALBUQUERQUE, NM under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. TRUTOUCH TECHNOLOGIES is the only known provider of the TRUTOUCH GUARDIAN. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all proposals received within FIVE (5) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by th! e Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. We anticipate awarding a firm fixed price contact. This requirement is in support of the Navy Personnel Command, Millington, TN.
