- RECOVERY -- This Market Survey is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. This Market Survey is being conducted to determine if there are adequate Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors for the following proposed project: Repair and bring up to current standards the Gordon M. Craig Army Reserve Center to include the existing 61,548 SF training building, vehicle maintenance shop of 4,875 SF, and unheated storage of 2,735 SF. The training building was constructed in 1976. Repairs will replace aging floors, ceilings, doors, HVAC, and electrical systems with new, modern materials and systems that meet current codes. Minor construction will provide an additional OMS work bay, an elevator, and a new training building main entrance lobby. Site work includes drainage, paving of existing parking areas, and new fencing/gates. Contract duration is 490 days and estimated cost range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000, closer to $10,000,000. NAICS is 236220. Size limitation is $33.5M. All interested Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractor should notify this office in writing by mail on or before 16 June 2009 by 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Responses should include: (1) Identification or verification of the company by the Small Business Administration, as either certified HUBZone, certified 8(a), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, or a Small Business, (2) The level of performance and payment bonding capacity that the company could attain for the proposed project, (3) Past Experience - Provide descriptions of projects substantially complete or completed within the last five years which are similar to this project in size, scope, and dollar value. Projects considered similar in scope to this project include office and training complexes, schools, and vehicle maintenance shops. With each project experience provided, include the date when the project was completed or will be complete, location of the project, contract amount and size of the project, the portion and percentage of work that was self performed, and a description of how the experience relates to the proposed project.
