- The Office of Public Health and Science (OPHS), Office on Minority Health (OMH), through the Program Support Center, Division of Acquisitions Managements, intends to award a 14 month sole source contract using simplified acquisition procedures to the School of Public Health, University of Minnesota, 420 Delaware St SE, MMC 729, Minneapolis, MN 55455. The Purpose of this procurement is to provide writing and editorial services for developing a book on quality in the public health system. The contractor shall be responsible for but not limited to the following tasks: Participate in Public Health Quality Forum Meetings; Assist in outlining topics for the book chapters; Review, edit, and provide written feedback to authors on draft book chapters; Provide narrative for the book on quality and accreditation; Provide input into the identification of book chapter topics Contractor is responsible for the following deliverables: Provide written comments on draft book chapters. Provide narrative on quality and public health accreditation The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of far 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest by responding to the requirement within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
