- 9. DESCRIPTION: The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to solicite, for a firm, fixed price supply contract to be negotiated on a 100% small business set-aside basis for a Double Wall Tank (4 each) in support of U.S. Fleet Activities, YOKOSUKA JAPAN. Part number is UL 142. Material: steel. Cylindrical horizontal type 3,000 gallon capacity double wall tank on saddle. It has not been determined what type of material will be stored in the tank. Solicitation will be posted on or about 5 June. Inspection and acceptance FOB terms are YTB depending on the weight. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement at http://www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under Business Opportunities. The solicitation number is N00406-09-T-1093. The Gover! nment WILL NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. Subsequent amendments (if any) will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and frequently for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance.
