- Description
- This is a Sole Source requirement for specialized engineering services to support the Special Operations Forces (SOF) AN/APQ-122 (V)8 Terrain Following (TF)/Terrain Avoidance (TA) Multi-Mode Radar (MMR), Infrared Detecting Sets (IDS) and general infrared and radar technology. The primary purpose of this task is implement corrections for deficiencies to assets which affect mission readiness and the capability to provide a quick reaction to short notice taskings; provide technical guidance; advice in the evaluation of unusual depot and field problems; assist with repair of assets exceeding Air Force technicians expertise; perform depot, organizational and intermediate maintenance actions for avionics components and peculiar support equipment to assist 580 ACSG/GFEAA. This requirement is for one 12-Month Basic, plus four annual option periods, for a total estimated contract period of five years. A Firm Fixed Price Contract with Cost Reimbursement and Labor Hours line items will be issued to Cage Code: 96214, Raytheon Company, 2501 W. University Drive, McKinney, TX 75070. Authority: 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
