- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia seeks sources and information for a Ruggedized Power Supply (RPS). The dimension of the RPS shall be approximately 17 inches in Length, 8 inches in Width and 13 inches in High. The maximum weight of the RPS shall be less than 50 pounds. The RPS shall be capable of operating from 85 to 280 VAC at 40 - 400 Hz. The RPS shall be capable of providing 18-30 volts DC power and output range of 0 to 60 amps. The RPS system shall be provided with handle(s) for transport. The RPS and all components shall be capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -25F to +131F. The RPS and all components shall withstand Mil Std 810, 514.5 Procedure I and II - Loose Cargo Bounce Test. The RPS case and external fittings shall be designed to make the unit splash proof, drip proof, and corrosion resistant. (Ref: Mil STD 810F, 506.4 Procedure II and III). The Marine Corps is seeking information to determine if proposed solutions ! could be Commercial-off-the-Shelf (CotS) or Non-Developmental Items (NDI). Pricing information and delivery time frame information is requested. Notional quantities, across multiple years, could be up to 3000 units. This sources-sought / Request For Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request For Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire follow-on acquisition. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI, or otherwise pay for the information requested. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this RFI and Government use of such information. The Government recognizes that proprietary data may be part of this effort. If so included, clearly mark such restricted or proprietary data and present it as an addendum to the non-restricted/non-proprietary information.
