- The United States Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific, Alameda, CA, proposes to contract the Post Shakedown Availability 1 for dockside Industrial Support for installation of the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility onf USCGC BERTHOLF (WMSL 750), a 418’ National Security Cutter, home moorage in Alameda, CA. All work will be at the cutter’s home moorage during the period 14 September 2009 through 15 December 2009. Work items include and are not limited to: Gantt Bar Chart, Provide; Pilot House Top Structural Modifications; Multi Cable Transit Install and Cableway Support, Final; Forward EHF Antenna Install; EDDU Cabinet Removal; MPC/MPC Annex Outfit Modifications, Final; 03 Level Handrail Modifications; HF Transmitter Room Outfit, Final; Rigging, Lifting, and Material Handling Support, Final; Removal, Installation of BERP, Final; AFT Damage Control Repair Locker Escape Scuttle; FWD Damage Control Repair Locker Escape Scuttle; Deionization Helo Water Wash Install; Athwartship P-Way Install and Crew Berth Reconfirguration; AFFT Power and MCMS Wiring; Relocate WDMC Valve; AFFT To WDMC X-Connect Piping Install; STBD Boat Davit Mods; Stern Gantry Structure Mods; Capture Net Mods; Towline Platform; Temporary Services, Dockside, Home Pier On or about 16 June 2009, a Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizops.gov. This is a Total Small Business set-aside. Only 100% small business contractors may submit a bid. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees.
