Description

Statement of Work and drawings. The goverment intends to award a construction project for a boring project on Tyndall AFB in our Silver Flag area. This project will consist of the contractor providing at least 3,620 linear feet of horizontal boring for underground electrical service lines. Contractor will be expected to use directional/horizontal boring machine to complete bores in accordance with the supplied plan set. Two contractor furnished pipe/conduits (6" in diameter) shall be pulled from soil entrance to soil exit and sealed to prevent water/obstruction entrance into pipe. Borings 1, 2, and 3 shall originate and terminate at the sectionalizers. Boring will originate at sectionalizer and terminate at a 4-way switch. Contractor will comply with all NEC codes and any local, state, or federal rules, regulations, guidelines, and standards for underground electrical utility lines. THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY SITE VISIT. ALL CONTRACTORS MUST ATTEND THIS SITE VISIT IN ORDER TO BID.
