- Power Pole Replacement – Project #052209-1 – Located near Building #16 (Security Vocation Building) The current pole, having no guy wires, supports electric power distribution lines, telecommunication cables, a transformer and a street light. Replace the decayed pole with a new pressure-treated wooden pole. This work will be done by a licensed electrical contractor and coordinated with NV Energy ( the local utility company) to transfer the lines and equipment over in accordance with their standards. The contractor shall verify with the utility company the plan of action, selected pole and materials, assembly and spacing requirements, and guy wire location.
