- W90XNQ91270001 Rental of 2- 10,000 pound capacity rough terrain forklift and 2-5,000 pound capacity rough terrain forklift Dates needed- 07 June 2009 to 30 September 2009. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR FAC 2001-24. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code 532490 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is $7,000,000 annual. Description of items: 1 Forklifts with a 10,000 pounds capacity. Diesel Fuel Forklift, QTY- 2each Period of Performance: 07 JUNE 2009 TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2009. Diesel Fuel. Forklift must be equipped to a minimum of: Factory Installed work lights front and rear. Length of fork face must be at least 48 inches. Extended fork height of approximately 170 inches. Ability to lift a minimum of 130 inches. Ability to tilt a minimum of 10 degrees. Forklifts travel speed of not less than 10 mph. Forklift must be equipped with the following: Hydrostatic steering. Lever or Foot operated parking brake. Oil-Cooled Disc Brakes or Drum Brakes. Power Shift Transmission. Triple stage mast assembly. Rear view mirror, Seat, Hydraulic fork spread Contractor will be responsible for providing routine maintenance including oil changes, mechanical failures, and inspections. The Government will provide fuel (commercial variety) for the forklifts required for operation. Contractor will provide on call service technician 24/7 and provide a replacement within 24 hours should a mechanical problem arise that cannot be fixed on site by technician at no extra charge to the customer.
