- Furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials, except for specified Government furnished property to remove approximately 1.5 miles of fence and construct approximately 1.8 miles of new fence, install 2 government furnished cattle guard assemblies, correct the wire spacing on approximately.25 miles in the area of Saskview Reservoir; and remove and replace all wood appurtenances and wires on approximately 2.2 miles of fence in the enclosure at Wards Reservoir in accordance with the specifications. Work under this contract is located in Valley County, about 50 miles southwest of Glasgow, MT. The period of performance is 65 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work will start on/about 7/29/2009. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238990. This is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $14 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000.00. Payment protection will be due upon notification of our intent to make award. Payment protection can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. A tentative Site Tour is scheduled for June 18, 2009 at 9:00 AM. More information on the site tour will be posted in the Solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on/about June 5, 2009. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/". Response date for quotes will be on/about July 6, 2009. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA databases will make an offeror ineligible for award.
