- This contract effort is in support of the U-2 Aircraft. This requirement is for remanufacture of the following: CA-GH121-501, Hoist, 4 each / LA-58A69D1WS, Hoist, 4 each / LA-RG494, Dolly, 3 each / LA-RG525-1, Trailer, 2 each / LA-RG130, Fuselage Cart, 2 each. These Parts are not stock listed and are managed under RG part numbers. Lockheed Martin Co. is the OEM for items listed in paragraph 1. LMCO drawings are proprietary and provided ONLY to select approved sources determined capable of meeting the drawing specifications. This effort requires expertise and skills that are available from the approved sources. If we do not go to approved sources, then other sources would have to be qualified. This would add extensive lead time to the delivery and thus have an impact on the work schedule possibly resulting in work stoppage. It is imperative to the success of the U-2 mission for the Breakout Program to provide timely and quality parts to the war fighter.
