- RECOVERY PRE SOLICITATION (FebBizzOPPs) NOTICE: PROJECT TITLE: Bldg 20 Officers Club Replace and Install HVAC Systems Invitation for Bid Number: W91QV1-09-B-0006 US Army Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) plans to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for design bid build construction contract for bldg 20s HVAC System at Officers Club, Fort Belvoir, VA. Project scope: Remove existing entire HVAC System and replace with a new HVAC System. The contractor is expected to provide all labor, supervision, management, material, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary for the performance of construction services IAW the Government provided design. Davis Bacon Wage Rate Determination will be applied. This project is funded from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The project magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 and It will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 238220. An IFB will be issued to 100% small business contractors responding to this pre-solicitation notice. Tentative date for issuance of the IFB is on or about June 21, 2009. Tentative required date for receipt of proposals are on or about July 20, 2009. Tentative contract award date is on or about August 5, 2009. Performance and payment bonds will be required. All prospective offerors must register in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. Interested parties should review the aforementioned site regularly for any/amendments to the requirements. All other pertinent information will be contained in the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
