Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Webster Field, St. Inigoes, MD intends to procure on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services or supplies will satisfy the agency requirements, the following items: 1. Processor Board Assemblies, PPC-7D, P/N PPC7D-ASY-3NE, Qty 35, 2. Option I: Processor Board Assemblies, PPC-7D, P/N PPC7D-ASY-3NE, Qty 20, 3. Option II: Processor Board Assemblies, PPC-7D, P/N PPC7D-ASY-3NE, Qty 10. This requirement is SOLE SOURCED to: GE Fanuc, 12090 S. Memorial Pkwy, Huntsville, AL 35803-3308 as the only vendor to produce this part. Any firms believing that they can provide the material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than five (5) days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firms ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the material without causing programmatic hardship. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
