- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) needs to procure a X, Y, Z Low-profile Piezoelectric Nano-positioning Microscope Stage. The following features shall be included in the system: 1) Large aperture (3.3 x 2.1) that allows microscope imaging of samples on both standard 3 slides and 35mm dishes; 2) ISS scan synchronization (TTL pulse output) to allow synchronization of nano positioned motion with a Becker & Hickle TCSPC imaging card; 3) Software drivers for micro-manager software to allow closed loop control of this microscope stage and synchronize its motion with other microscope components; 4) Rapid programmable changes in X, Y, and Z axis location over a range of at least 100m with 0.4 nm resolution; 5) Manual 2- axis coarse adjustment control of X, Y position. The Piezoelectric Nano-positioning Microscope Stage with coarse adjustment controls must be retrofit on to a Zeiss Axio Observer D1 TIRF microscope. All vendors that can provide the Government with the items listed above may request a copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ) in writing or by FAX to 301-480-8452 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that the RFQ NICHD2009047will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. Request for copies of the RFQ must be in writing to the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), 6100 Executive Blvd., Room 5Z00, Rockville, MD 20852 Attention: Patricia Haun. FAX quotations must contain offerors name, address, telephone number and fax number. FAX quotations will be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative.
