- Description
- The intent of the contract is to provide Rehabilitation and Stabilization of FSR 68 Skykomish Ranger District. Deferred maintenance of Miller Foss Road will be completed to replace worn and rotten culverts. These culverts are located on a road with buried power lines. Improve road drainage by reestablishing road prism & surface, and pull back subsidence cracking along fill slope. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and perform all work required to maintain the facilities according with drawings and specifications of the contract. The Contractor shall assume all risk, loss, damage, or expense arising out of prosecution of the work, except as otherwise provided in the contract. The resulting contract will be a performance based, Indefinite Quantity contract with a minimum guarantee of $85,000 with a maximum not to exceed of $100,000. FSR 68 road is located on the Skykomish Ranger Districts. District maps showing the road systems are available for purchase at the district offices Roads and work items will be identified on Task orders for the Contractor. These roads at a minimum are passable with a high clearance vehicle. Most work will be on improved, native or aggregate surface roads. The Contractor shall start work when directed within three calendar days from date of issued work orders.
