- Description
- The subject is for the acquisition of 9 NSNs with various item descriptions and end items. The major FSC’s of this requirement are 4720, 4820, 5330 and 5965. An Indefinite Quantity Long term Contract with a base year and 4 option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. NSN 5965-01-260-8701 will be solicited unrestricted full and Open Competition and the remaining nsns will be solicited unrestricted with other than full and open competition. This solicitation will be available on or about May 29, 2009 at http://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB destination is required. Inspection and Acceptance requirements will be noted on the RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. All offers shall be in the English Language and in U.S dollars. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government requirements with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. It is responsibility of the offeror to obtain the additional data that is necessary to manufacture the item and provide this evidence to the Government. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Product Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/.
