(See Below) The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment and mental health services, within a ten-mile radius of the Residential Reentry Center (RRC)/home confinement, located at 70 Thayer Avenue and Hancock Boulevard, Des Moines, Iowa 50315. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on October 1, 2009 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2014. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year (10/01/2009 - 09/30/2010): Estimated number of inmates 190: Intake Assessments (2011)(one per inmate) for 190 inmates = 190 total units; Individual Counseling Sessions (2010), 30 minutes per individual counseling session/inmate, @ 24 unites per inmate, 190 inmates, total units = 4,560; Group Counseling Sessions (2020) (30 minutes), @ 72 units per inmate, 190 inmates, total units = 13,680 units; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (5011) (one assessment and report per inmate) for 30 inmates = 30 total units; Medication Monitoring (6051) 2 units per inmate, 30 inmates, 60 total units; Mental Health Individual Units (6010) 30 minutes = 1 unit, 24 units per inmate, 15 inmates, 360 total units; Mental Health Group Units (6020), 30 minutes = 1 unit, 12 units per inmate, 15 inmates, 180 total units; Psychiatric Intake and Assessment (5030), 1 per inmate, 5 inmates, 5 reports; Psychotropic Medication, as needed, 50 perscriptions.
