- Bid opening will be on 23 June 2009, at 2:00 pm local time. This work consists of providing all materials, equipment, labor, and tools to remove and replace a motor control center at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. The extent of the work is contained in the drawings and specifications. The contractor shall be responsible for procurement of all material equipment, labor, transportation, storage, and disposal. Materials and equipment provided shall be furnished new and offered in current catalogs, not to be phased out. All bidding contractors are strongly encouraged to make a site visit before submitting a bid to be able to fully understand the job requirements. The work shall be coordinated in a scheduled manner to allow for minimum down time. All work will be performed at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. Performance period is 100 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. Invitation for Bid will be available on or about 30 April 2009. Bid opening date will be on or about 29 May 2009. Construction Magnitude: Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Invitation for Bid (IFB) will only be available electronically at the FBO website. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of IFB Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information.
