- F110 Tooling Sweeney Torque Multiplier, Tool Kit, PR FD2030-09-81535 SOL FA8121-09-R-0040. The Sweeney Took Kits are used for torque multiplication and then to pneumatically rotate the fan to pull the LPT Assembly in. This is a spares requirement. AMC-2A. Quantity of 36 EA with the delivery requested is 4 per month beginning January 2010. Destination: Tinker AFB FB2039. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 1 JUNE 09 with a close date of 1 JULY 09. The anticipated award date will be 30 JUL 09. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Approved Sources: General Electric (Cage: 07482) and Blue Ash Tool and Die Company Incorporated (Cage: 57404). All proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Award will be made to the qualified source with the lowest price and technical acceptability as detailed in the solicitation. If unit price exceeds $5,000 then UID requirements will apply. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
