- NSN: 4720-00-829-2761, Unit of Issue: Each. Quantity: 6,321 with a 100% option, total quantity of 12,642. This is a hose, air duct, air breathing and is a Critical Application Item. It will be produced I/A/W QAP 16236 SQAP008292761, Amendment Number dated 16 FEB 07; I/A/W Drawing Number 81361 349-0181, Amendment Number AA dated 08 AUG 08; I/A/W Drawing Number 81361 C5-19-916 Basic, Amendment Number AA dated 03 May 08, Typle Number C5-19-916-4; I/A/W ASTM D2000, Type Number M2AA514Z1; and I/A/W Specification Number MIL-DTL-14506H NOT 1, Amendment Number H. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for axquiusition of one (1) National Stock Number (NSN) for use in various end products. This proposed procurement includes an item within the 4720 Federal Stock Class (FSC). The proposed contract will be solicited as unrestricted using full and open competition with exclusion of sources and is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in it's solicitation for the described supplies/services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer, their interest and capability to satisfy the Govenment's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The requirement will result in an award of a Large Purchase contract. This solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on May 21, 2009 at the following web site: https://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisition of a 1G item which means the Government has unlimited rights to the tehnical data and the data package is complete. An alternate source must qualify in acordance with the design control activity procedures as approved by the cognizant Government Engineering Activity (ESA). The delivery for this acquisition will be FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at ORIGIN. First Article Testing (FAT) for both contractor and Governement is required. The final award will be baed upon an evaluation of price, delivery and past performance.
