- Description
- The U. S. Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA is procuring Refuse Collection and Disposal Services to be performed at U. S. Coast Guard Field Offices Cape Hatteras, NC. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to perform this service at USCG Station Hatteras Inlet, USCG Station Oregon Inlent and USCG ANT Wanchese. Estimated size and number of containers service requires (4) – 6 Cubic Yard dumpsters with 2 weekly collections pick-up per location Monday thru Friday. The hour of operation is from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, except Federal Holidays. All required licenses and or certification required for the State of North Carolina must be identified with the response to the Presolicitation Notice, along with any other required information (i. e. dumping, landfill). The Base period of the contract performance will begin on 1 October 2009 through 30 September 2010, with four one-year option periods. This requirement will be issued under full and open competition procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 562111 (Solid Waste Collection) with a size standard of $12.5 Million. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A Firm-Fixed Price contract will be awarded. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet at www.ccr2000.com or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Any correspondence concerning this requirement shall reference Request For Quote (RFQ) Number HSCG84-09-Q-AA5307. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be available electronically on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 28 May 2009, with a closing date for receipts of quotes by 11 June 2009, 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). No paper copies of the solicitation and or amendments will be distributed. All vendors will be responsible for obtaining the solicitation and any subsequent amendments from that site.
