- USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program for Wise County, Texas. The project is to repair major embankment slope slide on two dam sites. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for site preparation; stripping the topsoil, excavating to a subgrade, then placing geotextile and rock riprap. The work must be completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted o/a May 30, 2009. Range: $250,000 to $500,000 Site Showing is scheduled for June 12, 2009 at the USDA-NRCS Service Center, 1604 West Business 380, Suite B, Decatur, TX. Time: 10:00am CST
