- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for sole-source non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-09-T-0223. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-32 and DFARS Change Notice 20090115. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 334511 and the Small Business Standard is 750! employees. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon proprietary OEM equipment and at the discretion of the Government. The Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, VA intends to purchase the following items: QTY -1 HAIL SSGN Spares kit consisting of (4) PXI-8106 Dou Core Controller CD, (4) PXI-6652 Timing and Synch Module, (4) PXI-1042 8-slot 3U chassis, (4) PXI-4461 24-bit 2in/out ACQ BD, (4) BC635CPCI Time and Frequency Processing CD, and (2) Ruggedized Test Set Controller (Panasonic Tough Book laptops); on a sole-source basis from L-3 Communications Maripro Inc., 1522 Cook Place, Goleta, CA 93117. These items are requested on behalf of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center. Deliv! ery is July 15, 2009; Delivery Location is F.O.B. Destination. Delivery address is: Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, 9170 2nd Street, Ste 100, Bldg CEP 200, Norfolk, VA 2351, attn: SK2 Anita Gosha.
