- The offer response due date is 27 May 2009 at 4:00 PM EST. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk Office, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a sole source basis to EDRO Corporation, for quantity one (1) 60-LB capacity, EDRO DynaWash washer/extractor, model DW600PNSWE-24B, with onboard DynOzone capability; and quantity one (1) 50-LB capacity, EDRO DynaDryer tumbler-dryer, model M50TDE.The requested items are manufactured by EDRO Corporation and are the only authorized washer-extractors greater than 35-lb approved for shipboard use. This procurement will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code is 3510 and the Size Standard is 3333312. Delivery is FOB Destination to Meridian, MS 39309-5040. The RFQ will be available on or about 21 May 2009 by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ solicitation and any subsequent amendments will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of a! n offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
