- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR FEMAPLICENSE AND SUPPORT. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. Thisnotice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendmentwill not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to update the following:1- Delivery to Kennedy Space Center, FL 32899 is required by 4:30 PM EST May 29, 2009.2- The quantity (number of seats) for this procurement is one (1). All offerors shouldsubmit their quotes based on this quantity.3- FEMAP software is currently used in the performance of structural analyses for theNASA Launch Services Program. This software must be compatible with existing softwareused by the program. The program has developed specific codes and processes that requirethe use of the FEMAP software.Siemens AG is the only manufacturer of FEMAP software. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended and will remain May 28, 2009.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on May 19, 2009. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
