Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (FA6633-09-T-0006) for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). 934th CONF/LGC, Operational Contracting Office, Minneapolis ARS MN, 55450-2100 intends to issue a contract for Cathodic Protection Services. Contractor is to provide, but not limited to, all personnel, tools, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision to perform cathodic protection services for: 1. Utility lines and systems, estimated quantity 305 linear feet 2. Water storage tanks above and below ground, one (1) unit 3. Fuel tanks and associated piping, five (5) units 4. Oil/Water Separators, five (5) units located at 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis Air Reserve Station, Minneapolis MN 55450-2100 in a manner that will comply with Government and commercial standards for cathodic protection services. Specifications, requirements, locations, size, and frequencies will be provided in the Statement of Work. Initial period of performance will be 15 June 2009 through 30 September 2009 with one (1) year option period. Base and Option Period will consist of one (1) annual initial survey and bi-monthly surveys as specified. Option Period will be 1 October 2009 through 30 September 2010. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise any option period. Award will be made to the lowest, technically acceptable offeror. This is a 100% small business set-aside and is subject to the Service Contract Act. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219. The size standard is $7 million. Please contact Ms Barnaby to arrange a site visit. Anticipated award date will be on or about (o/a) 12 June 2009. The Department of Defense (DoD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the single DoD registration for contractors who conduct business, or who are interested in conducting business, with DoD. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in CCR. You can register on-line at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil. It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by calling Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505. On-Line Representations and Certifications Annual (ORCA) is a requirement of this solicitation. The completion of which is available on the CCR website.
