Description
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, material, parts, equipment, technical support and other items necessary to demolish the hydraulic ram system which services the caisson in Dry Dock 3 located in Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Oahu, HI. DESCRIPTION OF WORK AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS. Perform the following work (not all-inclusive or in the order listed) for the complete removal of the hydraulic ram system in Dry Dock 3, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Oahu, Hawaii:a. Demolish and remove electrical control panel (and associated wiring) serving hydraulic ram system.b. Drain and dispose of all fluid (hydraulic, etc) in reservoir and ~2" stainless steel supply and return lines. c. Demolish and remove hydraulic fluid reservoir (approximately 50 gallons).d. Demolish and remove hydraulic pump and frame.e. Remove all stainless steel supply and return lines (including brackets flush with surface).f. Demolish and remove 4-ea steel hydraulic rams.g. Fill all voids left in concrete after demolition of piping and rams with reinforced concrete.h. Remove all waste material and clean up site. The Contractor shall provide experienced, qualified, and capable personnel to perform the work in this contract. Personnel shall be fully knowledgeable of all safety and environmental requirements associated with the work they perform. Personnel shall speak, read, and comprehend English to the extent that they can read and understand printed regulations, detailed written orders, operating procedures, and training instructions and materials. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238910 and the annual size standard is $14.0 million. The Contractor shall complete all work within 60 calendar days after award of the contract.
