- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Raytheon Solipsys for the procurement of the following items: 0001 - Product ID 0102002 - MSCT Right to Use Licenses, Qty. 1EA 0002 - Product ID 0203006 - Theatre MSCT Hardware Package (Redhat Linux) (Requires purchase of MSCT software), Qty. 1EA 0003 - Product ID 0502008 - 24X7 Phone and Email Support for TDF RTU 10-Pack, Qty. 1EA, 0004 - Product ID 0702001 - 2-day TDF Capabilities I training- per student (CONUS only-Travel and per diem extra for on-site training, Qty. 1EA 0005 - Product ID 0702002 3-day TDF Capabilities II Training-Travel and per diem extra for on-site training, Qty. 1EA 0006 - Product ID 0803001 2-day MSCT Maintenance I Training-per student, Qty. 1EA 0007 - Product ID 0803002 - 3-day MSCT Maintenance II Training-per student, QTY. 1EA 0008 - Product ID 5030011 - 24X7 Phone and Email Support for MSCT RTU or MSCT Failover RTU, Qty. 1EA 0009 - Custom Item - Sr. Software Engineer I-96 Hours, Qty. 1EA 0010 - Custom Item - Principal Product support Engineer II-48 Hours, Qty. 1EA This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this synopsis by Friday, 29 May 2009, 12:00 PST to SSgt Ian Lutjens, 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd. Tucson, AZ 85707. Responses received will be reviewed; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs incurred with providing your capability information.
