- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DPWFOR91134002 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The closing date and time of this solicitation is 03 June 2009, 2:00 P.M. EST. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31. This acquisition is restricted under NAICS code 333111, Size STD 500. This requirement is a 100% [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The requirements in this solicitation: 0001- Quantity 1 Each - 7 Foot Angle Brush Cutter, Model SHL7-30A Angle Blade Brush Cutter as per attached specifications or equal. FOB: Destination Specifications for 7 foot angle blade brush cutter. (SHL7-30A) "7 foot cutting width "8 foot overall width "30 inch drum diameter " inch steel wall thickness " inch steel drum heads "Fill and drain plugs "9 blades x 6 x 84 "Bolt on reversible blades "Blades mounted in spiral "Bolt on drum axles "Axles assembled with Timken tapered bearings "6000 lb. off road hubs "20-25 ply aircraft tires "3500 psi hydraulic cylinder "2 inch hydraulic cylinder rod "Empty weight 5000 lbs. "Filled weight 7000 lbs. "70-80 horsepower tractor required for towing "Cutting capacity up to 3 inches Vendors shall comply with FAR 52.211-6 if submitting other than the Brand Name or equal to the product. Clause 52.211-6 (and other clauses throughout this solicitation) can be viewed by accessing website: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. Delivery, per specifications, shipping shall be FOB destination to Directorate of Public Works (DPW&L), Forestry Division, Building 402, Fort Gordon, GA 30905. Acceptance Location: Directorate of Public Works (DPW&L), Building 2212 IMCOM, 10th AVE & 11th ST, Fort Gordon, GA 30905. FAR provision 52.212-1 [Instructions to Offerors Commercial] applies to this acquisition to include the following addenda: All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR can be accessed via the internet at www.ccr.gov/. Confirmation of CCR registration will be validated prior to award. Evaluation of Quotes: Offers will be evaluated according to Far 52.212-2. Evaluation factors at 52.212-2 (a) are price and conforming to salients characteristics outlined in this solicitation. Vendors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3 Alt 1 with their offer if not registered in Online Representation & Certifications Applications (ORCA). The provision can be downloaded by accessing the website listed in this solicitation.
