- National Security Technologies, LLC is seeking sources that can refurbish a 250,000 gallon water tank, including inspection of both interior and exteior of tank to assess necessary repairs to ensure that the tank remains in good working condition. Only the exterior wall of the tank has lead based paint which will require abatement during the refurbishment process. The repairs as a minimum require welding plate steel on the interior walls and possible replacing or repairing roof struts. Both the interior and exterior walls will be coated after all necessary repairs. The subcontractor must be able to perform all phases of the work from inspection to repairs. The tank is located at the Nevada Test Site approximately 85 miles North of Las Vegas, Nevada. Interested parties need to provide written qualifications identifying the ability to perform the above work, including references to Emma Fox via fax at (702) 295-9106 no later than May 26, 2009.
