Description
The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5l00, plans to procure one (1) Portable Radar Simulator PCS-250 with a one year warranty and on-site installation, test, and training support in addition to lifetime technical phone/email support from Buffalo Computer Graphics (BCG), 3741 Lake Shore Road, Blasdell, NY 14219 (D&B #106807480) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This system will be utilized at Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) in Mayport, FL. CSCS requires this syst! em to simulate "real life" radar environmental data. The PCS-250 is offered as a replacement for the existing PCS-100 which is considered an upgrade rather than a new sale. This system operates on BCG proprietary hardware and software components. In terms of compatibility, the PCS-250 system offers 100% compatibility with existing BCG radar databases and training scenarios from radar simulator systems currently in use at CSCS training cites throughout the United States. The license provided for this product is exclusively offered through BCG. There will be no written solicitation issued as a result of this notice. The item shall be shipped to the CSCS DET MAYPORT, BLDG 1556, Baltimore Street, Mayport, Florida 32228-0114.
