- The purpose of this modification is to answer contractor questions: Question 1.) While working on the pricing for the laundry and sewing services I noticed that on item number 0002CL (Modular sleeping system, 3 Pcs) that there was an estimated annual quantity of 2000 Pcs for black or green sleeping bags and 2000 Pcs for the black stuff bags. The 3 Pc modular sleeping system we are familiar with consist of a black intermediate bag, a green patrol bag, a camo bivi cover and a black stuff bag to contain the 3 Pcs. Should I price for these four items at 2000 Pcs? There is no item number for the bivi covers. Answer 1.) Yes, 2000 qty for all 4 pieces and the item no. for bivy cover is misc. DA6553. Question 2.) On the Sewing Services there is only one item number. We have experienced variations as follows, Only embroider name and/or US army tapes, embroider name and/or US army tapes and sew on Velcro, or sew patch directly on to uniform. We have different pricing for each variation. Which is correct? Answer 2.) Embroider names and us army with Velcro sewn on back.
