- PR: 20557690. NSN: 4730-01-183-1803. Item description: tube, fuel. The required item is source controlled to General Electric Co (07482). It is manufactured IAW General Electric Co (07482) drawings 9338M47, M50TF9, P23TF3 and spec MS33786. The revision levels and dates will be noted on the RFP. Approved sources: Eaton Corp (00624) P/N AE82395R and Senior Operations Inc (98769) P/N 9338M47P01. Increments solicited: 25-49, 50-74, 75-99 and 100-117. Required delivery schedule: 30 units in 90 days, then 30 units every 30 days thereafter. Set-Aside: Unrestricted. A Request For Proposal (RFP) with 100% quantity option is anticipated. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Awards will be made to the offeror(s) whose quotes (s) / offer(s) conforms to the solicitation requirements and represents the best value to the Government. Past performance offered delivery and price will be evaluated when making a comparative assessment of quotes / offers. An award may be made to other than the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror(s). All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Requests for hard copies of this RFP and specifications, plans or drawings, if available, may be requested at the following web site: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil after the anticipated RFP issue date of May 21, 2009.
