- NAICS Code 922160 - Fire Protection. Estimated price is between $1,000,000 and $4,000,000. Contractor is to furnish all labor, supervision, apparatus, materials, equipment and supplies necessary or incidental to respond to any fire alarm system activation reported by the Denver Federal Center Central Station facility or respond to any emergency calls communicated manually involving a fire alarm, suppression system activation or emergency basis to all releases of hazardous substances on a twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week occurring at any location on the grounds of the Denver Federal Center. The Denver Federal Center is a campus encompassing 46 enclosed buildings totaling 4.2 million square feet complex on a 58 acre federal reservation. Building occupancies include office occupancies, laboratory, vehicle storage, maintenance shops, hazardous storage warehouse, engineering shops, a supply depot, a motor vehicle maintenance facility, and administrative offices. Hazardous materials in limited quantities are used and stored at multiple locations throughout the facility. A station plot plan showing the location, type and quantity of hazardous materials, as well as the occupancy of each building, will be provided to the successful offeror at the time of contract award. The contract will be firm fixed price. A site visit is scheduled on or about June 16, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. mountain standard time at the Denver Federal Center, Building 41, Second floor, Montana Conference Room, Lakewood, Colorado. A Pre-proposal Conference will be on or about June 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Denver Federal Center, Building 41, Second Floor, Montana Conference Room, Lakewood, Colorado. Potential offerors are highly encouraged to attend the site visit and the Pre-proposal conference to familiarize themselves with the general and specific conditions of the buildings and the contract terms and conditions. The contract performance period will be one (1) base year, with nine (9) one-year option periods. The estimated start date of the contract is on or about August 1, 2009. The proposal due date will be noted in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov on or about June 1, 2009. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the EPS site at www.fbo.gov for the release of any amendments. All prospective offerors are also required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via www.orca.bpn.gov. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA. The successful offeror will be required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov in accordance with FAR 52.204-7.
