- (RECOVERY ACT) The National Institute on Aging, IRP, intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a competitive basis for the purchase of laboratory supplies under Simplified Acquisition procedures. This notice may represent the only official notice. The RRB/GEGU Lab at the National Institute on Aging intends to procure the following laboratory supplies: ChIP-Seq Sample preparation Kit; 1 Single-Read Cluster Generation Kit v2 GA II; and 36 Cycle Sequencing Kit v3.0. All kits must be compatible with the Illumina Genome Analyzer II, a second generation sequencer that has the capability of sequencing 2-5 giga-bases per 2 day run. This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 16.2 using competitive procedures. These procedures include those identified under Subparts 6.1, 6.2 (Full and Open Competition and Full and Open Competition after Exclusions of Sources), and FAR Section 16.505(b) (1). The solicitation number is RFQ110 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions clauses are those in which the FAR has amended to incorporate for use in Recovery Act actions FAR subpart 5.7 for pre-solicitation and award notices. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 and the business size standard is 500. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to this requirement by 4:30 pm on May 27th, 2009.
