Description
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of the ProgramExecutive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) International C4I Integration Program Office (PMW 740), is holding a PMW 740 Industry Day to provide Industry insight to the future potential requirements in support of Taiwan based requirements. This brief will include an update of the International C4I Integration vision and information on potential competitive acquisitions that may be solicited in support of PMW 740 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Taiwan. The PMW 740 Industry Day will be held in San Diego, CA, on Thursday, 04 June 2009, at the MITRE Corporation Liberty Station facility located at 2280 Historic Decatur Rd, San Diego, CA 92106. (Please note that the Industry Day will NOT be held at the SPAWAR Old Town location.) Please see attached map for driving directions. The brief will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (PDT). Check-in will be from 9:15 a.m. 9:45 a.m. The brief will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Mr. Jerry Cheng, PMW 740 Case Manager, will be the primary presenter. Video and audio teleconference connections are not available. Please submit advance questions prior to COB 28 May 2009 to Ms. Carla Brown at carla.brown@navy.mil and Ms. Kelly Smith at kelly.m.smith@navy.mil. There will also be an opportunity for contractors to ask additional questions and provide comments in an open forum during the brief and these questions/comments will be addressed, if possible. THERE WILL BE NO ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS FOLLOWING THE GOVERNMENT PRESENTATION. No cameras, tape recorders, or other reproduction devices are allowed during this meeting. All questions and answers will be posted on the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central website (http://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil) following the Industry Day brief. (a) Due to possible space limitations, attendance is limited to two (2) representatives from each contractor entity. Contractors with separate divisions may send two (2) representatives per division. All participants must RSVP to Ms. Carla Brown at carla.brown@navy.mil and Ms. Kelly Smith at kelly.m.smith@navy.mil by COB 28 May 2009. The response must include the following information: (a) Full name of representative(s) planning to attend (must be U.S. citizen); (b) Company Name and CAGE code (and company division, if applicable) of each representative; (c) Representative(s) official title/affiliation; (d) Representative(s) email address; and (e) Representative(s) direct phone number. All participants will be required to check in prior to the Industry Day brief. Attendees will be required to show picture identification at check-in. If any changes need to be made to individual participants, provide updates prior to registration date/time indicated above. For those who are unable to attend, information and instructions to access the briefing material will be available at a later date.
