Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Solicitation Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 21-09-399QFS080 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Quotes given shall include all related shipping and handling charges conducive in shipping to U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 15 Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT 06320. EQUIVALENT ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The U.S. Coast Guard Academy has a need to provide Volume licensed software to 1,366 seats of Student, Faculty, and Staff members. All software below requires 1,366 seats. The following software suites are necessary: ITEM 001: Microsoft Windows XP and Vista Client Software. ITEM 002: Microsoft Office 2007 Suite ITEM 003: Windows Server 2008 CAL’s (Client Access Licenses) ITEM 004: Exchange Server 2007 Standard CAL’s ITEM 005: Exchange Server 2007 Enterprise CAL’s ITEM 006: Office SharePoint Server 2007 Standard CAL ITEM 007: Office SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise CAL ITEM 008: Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Standard CAL ITEM 009: Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Enterprise CAL ITEM 010: Systems Center Configuration Manager 2007 Configuration Management License ITEM 011: System Center Operations Manager 2007 Client Monitoring ITEM 012: Windows Rights Management Services ITEM 013: Forefront Security Suite ITEM 014: Microsoft Optimization Desktop Pack 2009 (MDOP) for Software Assurance ITEM 015: Microsoft Visio Professional 2007 ITEM 016: Microsoft Visual Studio ECAL’s (Enterprise Client Access Licenses) The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial item (Jan 2005). Only one (1) award will be made as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference IAW FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) and remain in full force in any resultant purchase order. FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items (Jan 2005), applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (Oct 2003), is incorporated into this RFQ and is an addendum to add the following clause: FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003).
