Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Bureau of Indian Education, Haskell Indian Nations University located in Lawrence Kansas is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for hiring College Level Football Coaches to assist with various coaching positions. This is a request for information (RFI) and not a formal solicitation. Any formal solicitation will be announced separately at a later time. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation, and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. The government is in no way obligated to do business with any person, firm or other entity that receives this inquiry. The purpose of posting this RFI is to locate capable businesses or coaches that are interested in performing a non-personal service contract that provides trainers (coaches) for college football at Haskell Indian Nations University. The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is interested in determining if sufficient and qualified small businesses or coaches are available and interested in providing the contemplated service of for a period one (1) base year with 4 additional option years. The BIE reserves the right to set-aside this entire acquisition for small business; however, we invite both large and small businesses to address the questions below. The contractor shall be required to football coaches with experience in college football coaching. Coaches shall be responsible for helping football players master techniques, polish skills, sport safety, ethical coaching and skill analysis. The Government will provide a training facility and all necessary equipment. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 711320 with a size standard of $7.0M. Interested contractors who are certified and qualified to coach college football must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) @ www.ccr.gov. All companies/coaches are encouraged to respond and submit their capability statements to this office via email to Kenneth.lloyd@bia.gov not later than COB on May 30, 2009. Please provide information relative to past performance and/or experience similar to coaching college football. Information should be sufficient to support your capability to perform these requirements and should include detailed references (contract number, dollar value, scope of services and point of contact with their telephone numbers and whether it was a Government or a Commercial type contract); (2) Please provide your company's name, CAGE code, DUNS, Tax ID Number (TIN), address, point of contact, telephone number, and e-mail address.
