Description
Fed Biz Ops Announcement for BFI 2009 No. 2, May 15, 2009 BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY 2009 The Professional Aerospace Contractors Association (PACA) of New Mexico, with the co-sponsorship of Air Force Research Laboratory, will host the twenty third annual BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY (BFI) on August 18 and 19, 2009 at the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town in Albuquerque, New Mexico. During this comprehensive two-day event, the participating military and government agencies will describe their missions, share their program objectives and plans, and identify contracting opportunities to the audience of current and prospective contractors. Presentation topics will include: research and development; test and evaluation; technical and analytical support; operations and maintenance; systems procurement; and facilities construction. Dr. Ashton Carter and Retired General Lester Lyles have been invited as keynote luncheon speakers. Organizations scheduled to participate include: Air Force Research Laboratory (all directorates); Space and Missile Systems Center/Space Development and Test Wing; Operationally Responsive Space Office; Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center; 46th Test Group; Kirtland Small Business Office; Sandia National Laboratories; Los Alamos National Laboratory; Department of Energy; White Sands Missile Range; White Sands Test Facility; High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office; National Reconnaissance Office; Office of Scientific Research, Air Force Small Business Innovation Research; Nuclear Weapons Center; Air Force Office of Test & Evaluation Center; 58th Special Operations Wing; Distributed Mission Operations Center; Department of Energy; and Spaceport America.
