- This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-09-T-0186 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 19 May 2009. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23 and Defense Acquisition Circular DCN 20090115. DPAS Rating is DO-C9E. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 423110, Federal Supply Classification code is 2310 and the business size standard is NTE 5.5 million. Required Item and Descriptions are as follows. All items are Brand Name or Equal. ITEM NO 0001 Qty: 3, BUS, ADULT 28-Passengers, ITEM NO 0002 Qty: 1, BUS, ADULT 36-Passengers.The Government may make single or multiple award to the responsible offeror which is the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of a best value evaluation process. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless qualified under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposals. The solicitation (Request for Quotation), when it is released it will be available electronically at the following NECO web site https://www.neco.navy.mil/ and https://www.fbo.gov/ under solicitation M67400-09-T-0186. The solicitation also will be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed. Offers can be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Contracting Office, U.S. Marine Corps RCO, MCB CAMP S. D. BUTLER, PSC 557 BOX 2000, FPO AP 9! 6379-2000. Requirement includes warranty and maintenance services in Okinawa, Japan. Delivery requirements: 120 calendar days from date of award to FOB destination, Bldg 5832 Camp Butler, Kitamae, Chatan Cho, Nakagami Gun, Okinawa, Japan. All offers shall be in the English language.Offers must be received no later than 11:00, Japanese Standard Time, on the date established for solicitation closing.
