- US Naval Hospital, Guam intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Synthes USA for the procurement of one (1) #01.112.022, 3.5mm LCP Clavicle Plate System Set. Consisting of implants and instruments for use in surgical procedures. Coducted in accordance with FAR 6.302 and FAR 13.106-1(b), where only one responsible source and no other supplies/services will satisfy agency requirements. The instrument set must match the system already in place at this medical treatment facility (OR). Synthes is the sole manufacturer of this instrument set. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation will be issued and phone calls are not accepted. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
