- The U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Quito, Ecuador is seeking qualified offerors for the Enlargement of the Exterior Fence at the Canine Training Center of the Anti-Narcotics Police, located in Quito, Ecuador. The project consists of the construction of approximately 263 meters of fence. The solicitation is planned for release on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or about May 30, 2009, with award of a contract anticipated in June 2009. It is anticipated that construction will start as soon as possible after contract award, with a performance period of approximately sixty (60) calendar days from contract execution to substantial completion. The resulting contract type will be firm fixed-price, and the estimated value of construction is between U.S. $30,000.00 and $60,000.00. The solicitation will be unrestricted to allow U.S. and non U.S. firms to participate in the selection process. Obtaining the solicitation: The solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps - website: http://www.fbo.gov. All notifications of changes to this solicitation will be made through the Internet only. It is the responsibility of prospective quoters to check for any posted changes to the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download via the FedBizOpps website on or about May 30, 2009. NO solicitation documents will be mailed, faxed or emailed to prospective quoters. Quotations will be accepted from both U.S. and non U.S. firms; all correspondence will be written in English.
