- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center McPherson intends to award a contract on a sole source basis, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Smiths Detection Inc., 30 Hook Mountain Road, Pine Brook, NJ 07058 for the procurement of the SABRE 4000. The government requires a portable device that can detect explosives, narcotics and chemical agents. The NACIS code for this requirement is 334511 and the business size is 750 employees. This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract and not a request for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties may express their interest and provide specifications to Ms. Amy Feemster via email no later than Thursday 21 May 2009; 12:00PM EST.
