Description
NASA/LaRC is hereby soliciting information about potential sources to conduct theLaRC Occupational Health Program. Program objectives include: the effective operation ofthe LaRC Occupational Health Clinic; the maintenance and improvement of the physical andmental health of LaRC employees with an emphasis on prevention; assistance in thedevelopment of Center occupational health programs to assure compliance with agencyprograms; good medical practice, diagnosis, treatment and care of illnesses and injuriescaused or aggravated by the work environment; and the provision of an Employee AssistanceProgram (EAP). In addition to the operation of the Clinic, the Contractor shall conductphysical examinations, manage employee medical records, provide clinical laboratoryservices, operate fitness facilities and programs, and maintain all occupational healthrelated equipment.Interested offerors having the required specialized capabilities to meet the aboverequirement should submit a capability statement of ten (10) pages or less indicating theability to perform all aspects of the effort described herein.Responses must includethe following:name and address of firm, size of business; average annual revenue forpast 3 years and number of employees; ownership; whether they are large, small, smalldisadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned; number of years in business; affiliateinformation: parent company, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, primecontractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime); list of customerscovering the past five years (highlight relevant work performed, contract numbers,contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and point of contact - address and phonenumber). One of the primary goals of this synopsis is to assist LaRC in determining whether an8(a) or other small business set-aside is an acceptable strategy for this procurement. If a full and open competition is ultimately pursued, responses to this synopsis will beused to aid in establishing small business subcontracting goals. Since no decision on aset-aside has yet been made, all qualified firms are encouraged to respond. The NorthAmerican Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 621498 andthe size standard under this code is $10 million.No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If asolicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA AcquisitionInternet Service.
