Description

Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform renovations to the maintenance shop areas within Building #311 at the U.S. Coast Guard Fort Wadsworth Facility, Staten Island, NY. The project includes architectural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical alterations to the building. An Optional Bid Item provides for the replacement of the roofing system and miscellaneous associated work. This Invitation for Bids is 100% set-aside for small business participation for which the applicable small business size standard is $33.5 Million average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years. This project is estimated between $500,000 and $1 Million. The applicable NAICS code is 236220. A 20% Bid Bond is required and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after award. The tentative bid opening date is 1 July 2009. Bid packages will be available on or about 1 June 2009. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this web site. Bidders are required to verify the number of amendments prior to the proposal due date.
