- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office - SCRO, Grand Prairie, Texas, plans to issue solicitation IFB-FTW-0008 for the construction of, to include but not limited to, removal and replacement of the existing food service floor of approximately 5,722 square feet, install new surface that is slip resistant, prepare surfaces by shotblast or similar mechanical method as recommended by manufacturer, patch all depressions, divots, honeycombed or scaled concrete with polyurethane concrete filer as recommended by manufacture. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor for the complete construction of the work located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Worth, Texas. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The solicitation will available on or about June 3, 2009 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately July 7, 2009. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website http//www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed soley through this site. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
